Information Collected & Purpose
We collect only the minimum necessary information required to facilitate verified commercial discovery:
1. Public Commercial Data (Visible on Directory)
Storefront name, business telephone/WhatsApp number, physical shop address, tehsil (Pabbi or Jehangira), category classification, product photos, pricing, and social profile links.
2. Verification Credentials (Private to DC Office)
National Identity Card (CNIC), National Tax Number (NTN), business utility bills, or trade license documents submitted strictly for administrative verification audits.
3. Technical & Usage Logs
IP address, device type, browser metadata, and traffic metrics used strictly for portal optimization and cybersecurity intrusion defense.
How We Use Your Information
Collected data is used strictly to:
- Host your public B2B manufacturing and commercial storefront profile.
- Connect buyers with sellers via direct click-to-WhatsApp and telephone links.
- Verify merchant identity for granting the blue "DC Office Verified" badge.
- Investigate consumer complaints and enforce fair trading practices.
NowsheraZone never sells, rents, or monetizes merchant or consumer data to third-party marketing firms.
Third-Party Integrations & Direct Communications
When a user interacts with a vendor using WhatsApp or telephone links, they transition into end-to-end encrypted third-party services governed by WhatsApp/Meta privacy policies. NowsheraZone does not record, eavesdrop on, or store private chat logs or financial transactions exchanged outside the portal.
Data Security & Encryption
All web traffic across NowsheraZone is secured with 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. Store databases are safeguarded by PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring that only authenticated store owners can modify their catalog and listing records.
Your Data Rights & Profile Deletion
Registered merchants have the full legal right to update, correct, or permanently delete their storefront profile and listings at any time from their Vendor Dashboard or by submitting a formal request to the DC Office IT Support Desk.
